How to use our Zakat calculator
Our calculator is professionally designed and allows you to calculate Zakat using Gold, Silver, Cash, Liabilities, and various currencies. Below you will find step-by-step instructions on how to use our calculator in the UAE.
1) Enter Gold Details
Enter the weight of pure gold jewelry/bars in grams (e.g. 50 grams). Select the amount of gold in 22K gold jewelry by weight (e.g. 80 grams). If you have gold coins or other items, enter their current market value.
2) Add Gemstone Value
Enter the total value of diamonds, rubies, or other gemstones in AED, PKR, or INR or your currency.
Example: 10,000 AED etc.
3) Enter Silver Weight
Choose the total weight of all silver items (utensils, jewelry) in grams e.g. 700 grams.
4) Enter Cash Details
How much cash is on hand e.g. 5,000 AED more or less. Add bank balance, savings account (e.g. 20,000 AED), current account (e.g. 10,000 AED). Enter the amount deposited in the Fixed Deposits Bank (e.g. 50,000 AED).
5) Subtract Debts
Enter all debts (e.g. car loan, home loan) and tax amount.
Example: Debts = 15,000 AED, Tax = 2,000 AED.
6) Select Currency
Select AED or other currency from the drop-down menu. You can select these currencies (AED, PKR, INR, BDT or etc).
7) Press the “Calculate Zakat” button
Click the button after entering all the data. The calculator will show you the following:
